Programs and Costs

Here at ITCC were are multifunctional and have unique paths for each community member and collection. Please contact us with any specific inquiries or requests. 

Programs

Curation Program

The curation program is primarily designed to fit the needs of professional consultants, lead agencies and others that have developed a collection of cultural resources from a project that required archaeological and/or Native American monitoring compliance. Collections can be, but are not limited to, items collected during Capital Improvement projects, private developments and other mitigation projects. Items within the Curation Program are stored in a 36 CFR compliant facility.

Full Box

1,350.00

A full box is expected to be submitted to the ITCC in an archival plastic corrugated box (15"x12"10). Boxes are to be no more than 30lbs and have printed labels within the box and a QR code affixed to the outside of the box. The QR code must be linked to the collection catalogue and technical report.

Quarter Box

$800.00

A quarter box must be plastic. A standard small tote box or shoe box will be accepted (. The lid must fit flush for secure stacking purposes.

Oversized Items

$500.00 cubic ft

Anything that does not fit within the above stated dimensions are considered oversized.


Legacy Program

The Legacy Program is designed to help house items that community members may want to store, but not at a standard institution or their garage. We offer a place where community members can take their family treasures and decide what life they want them to live. We offer private storage, in house display options, institutional loan programs, etc. Many items created by peoples now gone are worthy of celebration and others are meant to protected and cared for. This program lets the family decide.

Initial Consultation

FREE

Initial conversation about the item(s) and the intention. This conversation is meant to bring mutual understanding to our staff and the community member.

Living Collection

Varies

If the item is mean to be shared, we develop a plan and legal MOU with the owner to establish the method of care and expectations for potential display.

*Costs are estimated. We hope to secure grant funding to care for every item entrusted to our program and no cost to the community.

Private Collection

Starts at $100.00 and varies

This option is designed to respectfully care for any items that community members may want to keep in a safe place, but does not want to share with the community or public. 

*Costs vary depending on the longevity of storage, item's size and availability of grant funding. 

Institutional Holdings

Starts at Curation prices and varies

This option is designed to respectfully care for any items that institutions currently posses and want to return to the community. This option is highly variable du to the nature and content of the collections


Transfer Program

The Transfer Program is designed to aid in the transferring of institutionally held items back to the community, but in a way that the community has the opportunity to discuss and decide where their items belong without the interference of the institution. This is a complicated process and no one program fits all situations.

Institutional Holdings

This option is designed to respectfully care for any items that institutions currently posses and want to return to the community. This option is highly variable due to the nature and content of the collections. 

Abandoned and Unaffiliated

Varies

This option is designed to give the orphaned and unknown a place to rest. Through this program, the items will be researched and belonging will try to be established.
